Terms of Service

Last updated 1 October 2026

The short version: Pesalytics is a tool for tracking money you record yourself. We don't hold or move your money, we don't give financial advice, and you stay in control of your data and of who can see it.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pesalytics, a personal finance tracking product provided by Kraftti Systems ("Kraftti", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Pesalytics, including our free tools, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Pesalytics.

2. What Pesalytics is (and isn't)

Pesalytics helps you record and understand your own finances: balances, transactions, investments, bills, goals, debts and budgets that you enter yourself.

Pesalytics is a record-keeping and analysis tool. It is not a bank, lender, broker, payment service or financial institution.

  • We don't connect to your bank or mobile-money accounts to pull data, and we don't move, hold or transfer your money.
  • Figures in Pesalytics reflect what you (or people you've given access to) enter. If something is entered wrongly or is out of date, our numbers will be too.
  • Marking a bill as paid, logging a repayment or updating a balance records information only; it doesn't make a payment.

3. Not financial advice

Pesalytics, including its dashboards, insights, tips, calculators and planners, provides general information and illustrative estimates only. Nothing in the service is personal financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Rules of thumb, projections and estimates (for example budgeting percentages, emergency-fund targets or a "freedom number") are starting points. Rent, tax, insurance, inflation, fees and investment returns vary by location and by individual circumstances, so your results may differ materially. Consider speaking to a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.

4. Your account

You sign in to Pesalytics through Kraftti Auth, our central identity service. We never see or store your password. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

You are responsible for activity under your account and workspace, including activity by people you invite to it.

5. Your data and content

You keep ownership of the financial information and other content you put into Pesalytics. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to provide and improve the service for you, as described in our privacy practices.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you enter, and for keeping your own records and backups where they matter to you (for example for tax or legal purposes). You can export your data and ask to close your workspace; after a deletion request, some records, such as audit logs, may be retained for a limited period where we have a legitimate or legal reason to do so.

6. Shared workspaces and activity records

A workspace can have more than one member. The owner decides who is invited and with what access (editor or viewer) and can remove members. Anyone with access can see the workspace's data at their access level, so only invite people you trust.

To help keep your data trustworthy, Pesalytics keeps an activity record of changes made in a workspace, including who made them and when, along with sign-in and security events. This record is visible to the workspace owner and is kept for a limited period.

7. Connected apps and AI assistants

You can create access tokens that let third-party applications, such as AI assistants like Claude, read your Pesalytics data. Tokens are read-only and you can revoke them at any time under Settings.

If you connect a third-party app, you choose to share your data with it. That app, and any AI service behind it, operates under its own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control. You are responsible for deciding what to connect, for keeping tokens private, and for revoking any you no longer use. We aim to share only the minimum a connection needs, but we are not responsible for what a third party does with data you've allowed it to read.

8. Acceptable use

When using Pesalytics you agree not to:

  • break the law or use the service to hide or support unlawful activity;
  • access another person's workspace or data without permission, or try to bypass access controls;
  • probe, scan, overload or disrupt the service, or attempt to reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
  • use automated means to scrape the service, other than through the connected-app tokens we provide;
  • upload malicious code or content you don't have the right to share.

9. Market data, exchange rates and third-party services

Some figures, such as exchange rates and security or crypto prices, come from third-party sources. They are provided for information only, may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and should not be relied on for trading or other time-sensitive decisions.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Pesalytics available and reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and some features may be offered free or on paid plans.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pesalytics is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kraftti and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Pesalytics, including any decision you make based on information shown in it.

Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or a nominal amount. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Pesalytics and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, such as disclaimers and limitations of liability, will continue.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the product. Continuing to use Pesalytics after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where Kraftti Systems is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
