MCP server
Works with Claude

Connect Claude to your Pesalytics data

Pesalytics has a read-only MCP server. Connect Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client and ask about your accounts, bills, budgets, investments and goals in plain English — no copy-pasting numbers into a chat.

What Claude can do with your data

Ask about your money and get answers based on your real numbers.

  • Your whole financial picture

Balances, spending, bills, budgets, goals and debts, all in one place for Claude.

  • Your investments too

Holdings and net worth, so questions about the big picture get real answers.

  • Answers in plain English

Ask the way you'd ask a friend who knows your numbers. No formulas, no exports.

  • Look, never touch

Access is read-only. Claude can't add, edit or delete anything.

Set it up in a minute

Server URL: https://api.pesalytics.com/api/mcp

  1. Create a token in Settings → Connected Apps.
  2. Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http pesalytics https://api.pesalytics.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer plt_your_token_here"

Replace plt_your_token_here with your token. It's shown once when you create it, so copy it straight away.

Claude.ai custom connectors need one-click sign-in, which Pesalytics doesn't support yet — use Claude Code or Claude Desktop for now.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Pesalytics MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude call tools exposed by another app. Pesalytics runs an MCP server so an assistant can read your accounts, bills, budgets, investments, goals and debts and answer questions grounded in your real numbers.

Can Claude change or delete my data?

No. Every tool is read-only, and the token you create is restricted on the server so it can't reach any route that creates, edits or deletes data — even if a client tried.

How do I connect it?

Create a token in Settings → Connected Apps, then add the server URL and token to your MCP client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or any client that supports HTTP MCP servers). The setup section above has copy-paste snippets.

Can I revoke access?

Yes. Delete the token in Settings → Connected Apps and the connection stops working immediately.

Does it work with Claude.ai or ChatGPT?

Not yet. Those connect through a one-click sign-in flow (OAuth), which Pesalytics doesn't support yet. Today it works with clients where you can supply a token, such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor.

Is the MCP server free?

Yes. It's included with your Pesalytics account at no extra cost. Your AI assistant may have its own pricing.
